Professional autonomy and academic freedom are at the core of the university\u2019s mission. They enable professors to teach, conduct research, publish, and speak freely \u2014 without undue pressure and in accordance with the principles that define the university as a public institution serving the common good.<\/strong><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

But how are these principles experienced in the day-to-day reality of professors\u2019 work<\/strong> in Qu\u00e9bec universities?<\/p>

The F\u00e9d\u00e9ration qu\u00e9b\u00e9coise des professeures et professeurs d\u2019universit\u00e9 (FQPPU<\/strong>) is conducting a survey to better understand the conditions under which professional autonomy and academic freedom are exercised across Qu\u00e9bec\u2019s university network. The results will help build a clearer picture of the current situation and identify more precisely the factors that support \u2014 or restrict \u2014 their exercise.<\/p>

Your participation is essential.<\/strong><\/p>

The higher the participation, the more accurately the results will reflect the reality of professors\u2019 work and help us better defend the conditions under which the profession is practiced.<\/strong><\/p>

The questionnaire takes approximately 12 to 15 minutes<\/strong> to complete.<\/p>

All responses are completely anonymous<\/strong>. No identifying data will be collected, and the results will be presented in a way that ensures that no individual can be identified.<\/p>
